Matt is my lemon squeeazin guy.
He’s got a whole routine down when he makes lemonade for me.
He rolls the lemon and then cuts it in half.
Then he puts the half in the juicer and squeeeeeeezes it down until there isn’t much left in it.
Here’s our recipe.
4 cups cold water, divided
2 cups sugar
1 3/4 cups fresh squeezed lemon juice
Combine 1 cup water and sugar in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for one minute.
Remove from heat and cool a bit. Add fresh squeezed juice and 3 cups cold water. Stir well.
Serve over ice.
