Every Pie in that lovely movie “Waitress” had a name. So do my Jams.
This one is from a blog called “The Hip Girl’s Guide to Homemaking”. I tried out her Rhubarb Peach Jam last night and it was a keeper!
It tastes mostly of Rhubarb, but with a hint of Christmas!
PeachRhubarbStrawberry Jam on a simple saltine made my mouth SING!
Grabbed some frozen rhubarb from the freezer.
Found some frozen Colorado Peaches deep in the back of the freezer. Colorado are the BEST peaches.
Rhubarb, Peaches and a few strawberries, Juice of one lemon (and I threw in the rind for good measure while boiling) and 2 cups sugar. Bring to a boil for a few minutes.
After resting in the fridge, I boiled the fruit for 10-15 minutes until it was getting thickish and I added 2 teaspoons of MaryJane'sFarm Chillover Powder as pectin.
Alice LOVED it!
